For riders specifically, I've heard Take App/Ascendra is pretty good cause they have dedicated rider plans that cover stuff others might not, like motorcycling incidents. GCash and Cebuana are more general insurance usually.

I looked into that too. Ascendra (through Take App) seems to focus more on personal accident and has some really specific rider stuff like actual motorcycling incident coverage. GCash Insure and Cebuana are decent but sometimes their rider benefits are not as comprehensive, depends on the exact policy though.

Pretty sure it depends on the plan, but I paid for my basic one annually. I think some of the bigger packages might have other options.

I paid for mine using GCash, it was super easy. They have a few different payment options listed, so you should be able to find something that works. Not sure about monthly for every plan though, you might want to check the specific plan details.

I think it's usually immediate or very fast, like within hours, once your payment is processed and docs are submitted. I got my policy details pretty quickly after signing up online, so you're not left waiting for ages, afaik.

I don't think they do promo codes like a normal online store. It's more about like, if you get a group package or if someone refers you, you get a discount. Or bundles.

Yeah, I asked about that when I signed up. They mostly do discounts on enrollment packages or if you get referred. Not really percentage-off codes you punch in, more like a lower rate automatically for certain plans.

Yeah, totally legit. They're basically just the platform for Ascendra International's insurance products. Ascendra is a real company here in the PH, they're registered with the Insurance Commission and everything.

Can confirm, I got my policy through them last year. Ascendra is the actual insurer, Take App is just how you access it. No issues with my claims either.
